Can we please stay clear of the height/facial changing ideas. The thread isn't covering those ideas, and they are just asking too much.

If your unsure of what my (I made this afterall) topic is about, I suggest you should reread the first page.

Thanks.

Why can't Anet just make it so your hair can be affected by the dyes we have currently?

I'm concerned that it won't be as "Real" as some people would like, although I completely enjoy the idea of having characters with bright green hair from time to time.

But, I would looooove to see stuff like the bright green hair be a "rarity" and you must obtain it with a quest or two to access it from the Hair Stylist.

Edit: Of course, buying this hair color would cost you a ton of money. Really, we can't have everyone in neon green hair..

I'm not sure if I already signed this, but I'll sign it again anyways. I have a feeling this is just gonna become like the wanted "Auction System" though: High demand from players, ANet turns the other way.

/Signed.

Dyes for hair would be pretty cool. I'd go for Red.

Oh I'm not assuming, it's more of a 'all the younger players' would go, "OMG GREEN HAIR!" and go for it right away, while the people who actually plan on using that to their character and give more life to them and their personality they play, would be willing and able to do two quests and pay a sum of gold for it.

Plus, by red hair, do you mean Red as in Green or Red as in Strawberry Blonde red? All those "Exotic" colors (Red, Green, Purple) should have to be obtained by a quest, actually I think quests are an awesome idea to enable you to get hair styles and colors for all three continents (currently, until we get our PC Gamers today) and mix and match as you see fit for your character.

I have been a massive supporter of the hair style changing idea ever since it started, but I do now sadly doubt it'll be implemented, with GW2 being talked about maybe they're saving it for then.

Or maybe they'll introduce it in GW:EN, but either way I'm sadly losing hope Anet will listen to the players and implement this =(

Default Hair Weekend Event

I have also had this idea for some time, I made a necromancer in factions and the armor suited the hair styles, now that I have nightfall armor the hair doesn’t go! I was thinking about having a hair event weekend where you can do quests or something to get hair tokens and use them to change your hair, and maybe a hat weekend to get past event hats, but that’s a whole other story.

But that’s just my idea, I have skimmed through this thread and didn’t see anything like this but if I missed it I apologise!

And lets be honest, who actually keeps their hairstyle their whole lives? Imagine if we all still had 60’s hair styles? :P

I don’t agree, however, to plastic surgery like some people have suggested. In the Guild Wars era I doubt they could have done something like that! :P

Using the armor/ weapon dyes on your hair is a good idea, but think about it, that’s like putting clothes dye in your hair? Eww! If there’d be something like that there should be new dyes, hair dyes?

Anyhows I’m talking to much!

I hope everyones ideas get read over and approved! xD

Either they haven't noticed the ~500 post thread that's been alive for months upon months, they didn't think it is worth the effort at the moment, or maybe they are waiting for GW2.

There's always the need for individuality - I hate it when I see someone running round with one of my character's face and hair, even though they probably don't have the armour or height that mine does. This is especially a problem when you get certain classes with only one or two really nice faces (not that I'm suggesting that a stylist allows face changes - cosmetic surgery in the GW world is a bit much... ^^)
Being unique has become a bit of a stickler for me, I have to admit. I've got to the point where I'm actively trying to combine armours when I get new ones

People, look. They have said, some where, and I do forget where that they are working on a way to implement something for people who want this.

I believe it was in another discussion, but someone or Gaile her self stated that they where working on something like this, and did indeed notice the call for something like this.

/signed for Hair customisation only. (Hair style and color)
but does it have to be an npc? what about an extra option in your char selection screen?

I say yes to the NPC due to this ideology I have going inside my brain...be warned.

With a NPC:
Gold Sinking - Helps with keeping prices down for all items
Different Hair Styles (quest free, not available through Campaigns styles)
Earning Different Hair Style (quests, collecting Xamount of Charr Hides)
Earning Different Hair Colors (quests, collecting Xamount of Charr Hides)
Different Hair Stylists (5k, 10k, 15k)
Edit: Earning the use of different classes hair styles/colors (quests, collecting Xamount of Charr Hides)

Character Screen:
Different Hair Styles
Different Hair Colors

That's it. I think we got more play room if it would be a NPC's that did this rather then just simply doing it through our character selections.

Double Edit:

Please! No one forget the Goatee's! We must have the ability to grow facial hair on all male characters, and all female characters that are over fifty years of age! :P (Seriously on the males though)
